The Cake Hole

I didn't realize it, but I've been racking up places to have tea and they are too good to be kept a secret :) Let me begin with the first place I visited back in March called the Cake Hole. It is aptly named as a little hole in the wall in the back of Vintage Heaven off of Columbia Flower Market where you can delight yourself with classic English cakes.  Here you'll be having communal tea circa 1970 nibbling on finger sandwiches. Follow the falling petals to this charming cafe.

It is not Harrod's but it has it's own charm - definitely stop in on your next trip :)

You live in Queens! I'm sure there are loads of lovely cafes that would make me want to fly over - you just may not get the little tea sandwiches :) <3
