Thanks to Wes Anderson The Courtesan Chocolat is no longer fictional! We can all be Agatha and mix up choux pastry piped with chocolate cream dripping with pastel icing. After finding this recipe I've got cacao beans in the mail and plans to turn my living room into a mini patisserie :).

Ahh this is so cute! I still haven't seen the movie (it's not out here in Australia yet :( ) but seeing this video makes me wish it would hurry up and arrive in cinemas even more!
xx Carina
That is beautiful! I probably won't be making them, at least not any time soon. I have yet to try out my oven actually. Moved in at least 2 months ago and still haven't tried it. So I'll start with something more familiar;)
This movie looks beautiful!
P.S. I realized I hadn't answered the question you asked in the comment reply a while back. I'm from Amsterdam actually;) Also, did you hear anything back from the competition?
Ahh so happy you've shared this, it's so cute! I can't wait to see this film.
Yum!!!
Isn't it cute?! I hope you get to see the movie soon <3.
I read an article that this dessert takes 4 hours to make - so I definitely don't blame anyone who would rather bake a cookie and buy a pastry :).
How lovely that you are from Amsterdam! I have been there in transit on my way to Russia and I loved how common it was to travel by bicycle and I definitely want to go back. Maybe to see your gig? ;-). I have not heard from the competition, but there has been only news released that they are making sure everything has been done fairly/legally. So I will wait a little longer :).
I hope it comes to you soon and that I didn't spoil any surprises!
Oh, in that case you definitely need to come back and see it properly! Haha, yes, we could go to an open mic together actually. And I can show you where the best vintage shops are too;)
I have plans to see the movie tonight, and this little video made me even more excited! It's crazy how much work goes into creating a tiny but lovely pastry.
So glad we did it! :D
It is definitely a labor of love! I hope you liked the movie <3
Amazing!! I found another recipe for the same cake but I love this one! Defintely need to try it out ;) Maybe together? :) xx
