She drinks tea made from petals

She drinks tea made from petals
And her breath smells like a rose
laced with sugar and a bit of
something metallic like a silver spoon...

*High Gate Pantry and down the road High Tea of High Gate*

So pretty. What is the name of that book? I'm judging a book by its cover you see :P x

Thank you Jenny! I like to read memoirs of cooks and chefs - this one is called Madelines in Manhattan and is about a French woman who married an American in the 50's and her journey in food. :-).

This looks like such a lovely afternoon! I'm a total sucker for those beautifully bottles drinks, and would have probably bought one just because it's too pretty not too!

Ah I love this little place, it's very close from my home. I haven't been there in ages, so a good reminder to go back :)

I used to live on Highgate Hill (and my old flatmate worked in there!) I never visited regretting it now!
