Gatsby Suits

Jay Gatsby is a made up man in a fictional book by F. Scott Fitzgerald, but the 1920's were real. The glitz and glamour was real. The endless nights with jazz music were once alive and that is what is most exciting. When I found out the luxury clothing store called Brooks Brothers that Fitzgerald preferred to buy his tailored suits from did the men's wear in the upcoming Great Gatsby film I had to go to Regent Street in London to see their Great Gatsby Collection. Sometimes men's fashion can be just as exciting as women's and that is reflected here - or rather the buildings are reflected in my pictures, but you get the idea. If you go inside the Regent store you can see costumes from the actual movie of lovely black and bronze beaded flapper dresses and gentlemen's tuxedo's with crisp bow ties.  They are only on display until May 31 so if you are in the Oxford Circus area it's worth taking a look.

I cannot wait for the film to come out! I'm pretty sure the costumes are going to be all kinds of beautiful!
