As bohemian and gentry worlds collide spring bursts and heavy blossoms bloom over them both. My friends Salome, Emily and I walk along the canal saying hi to little dogs unleashed faithful to their owners and admire the backdrop of the trees with canopy limbs stretching to reach the boats below in waters still like a mirror. When you look into the water you see things for what they could be because this old canal has seen a lot and suggests a different pace of life and lifestyle. Options seem endless and the every day pressures that we place on ourselves float away down the river just in time to arrive at Victoria Park and feast on colourful meringues.
