And so I learned I was nearer to the Crown than I had thought...

In a moment of serendipity I rode the tube to some unknown location. I just knew that if I rode, I would find something that could only be in a big city like London.  This feeling kept me going north, and stopped me from going left and sometimes right. I walked and walked through parks until it found me.  A palace! I drank cups of Lady Grey in the Orangery at Kensington Palace, careful to not chip my tea cup on my ever smiling teeth as I dreamt of what happened in this place a century or two before...I had to bring my mom weeks later and we explored the living quarters of Queen Victoria, but not without a spot of tea first. ♥

How lovely - I have another place to put on my visit list! I have never been to Hampton Court and British gardens are some of my favourites. :) I've lived here for almost two years and I'm still impressed that new things keep popping up. Thanks so much for your nice comment - I can say the same for you! <3

Thank you so much! I am from the States originally, which is why I was even more thrilled than most people probably would be in the UK. I hope you have a serendipitous moment of your own - if not a castle, then I'm sure a mansion would do ;).

I would be happy to make you a list and would definitely need your advice next time I'm in Sweden - I didn't make it out of Stockholm, but I was in love with what little I saw. <3
